I study Cyber Security Engineering at Politeknik Negeri Batam. I like finding out how a system gets attacked, and then working out how to stop it.
Most of my work is in Network Security and SIEM Engineering: reading traffic for anomalies and turning what I find into detection rules in Wazuh. I've done both Blue Team defense and Red Team attacks. Knowing how the attack side works makes the alerts easier to read.
Outside security, I spend a lot of time on Linux internals and my KVM homelab. I learn by doing things on real machines, not just reading about them.

Campus projects and one side project
An interactive Bash script that provisions VMs on KVM/QEMU. It runs on several Linux distros as host or guest, configures each VM with cloud-init, and deploys it by role: frontend, backend, SIEM/monitoring, or database. It can also add a Docker Compose stack to a VM and set a static IP or DHCP.
A Wazuh SIEM connected to a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) platform. The team also wrote SOC SOPs, set up a web app as a test target, handled system and network admin, and ran attack and defense scenarios against the whole setup.
DDoS attacks and their mitigation, simulated in a GNS3 network. Attack traffic comes from hping3. Python scripts filter packets, cut traffic that crosses a bandwidth threshold, and log anomalies through a queue. The project ends with a security risk analysis report.
A small campus project: an app for improving programming literacy and data management. It covers the basics of keeping data and privacy safe.
